Saxifraga · Open after the city cools

Alpine house

Palm, arid, alpine, fernery. We open at dusk because some flowers refuse the afternoon.

Sunset through the main glasshouse

12° · bright, spare

The alpine house is the quietest. Labels handwritten. Troughs of grit. A thermometer that is not decorative.

We open a vent when the glass runs hot. Alpine plants forgive almost nothing, including our evenings.

Come in winter. The saxifrages do their real work when the city has given up on flowers.

We did not add evening hours as an event. The plants were already working after dark. We simply unlocked the door.
